On this episode of #FranchiseFriday, we head over to Purdue Pickle to catch up with the team before school starts. Gary talks about how to create a culture of “raving” for both customers and employees.

Sports Bar Franchisor and Champion Gary Brackett on Raving Fans

Gary Brackett, CEO & President of Stacked Pickle Franchise Sports Restaurant Concept, has built-in experience dealing with fans from his days with the Indianapolis Colts. His time with the Colts ultimately lead to Super Bowl Victory, placing his personal life into a public frontier.

Having learned to cultivate community, team, and leadership skills though his NFL career and in successfully pursuing an MBA, Gary is among leaders in knowing how to manage raving fans.

Gary begins, “If your business don’t have raving fans, not from a customer standpoint, just from employee standpoint, you’re doing something wrong. In this episode of Franchise Friday, I want to talk to you. We will discuss how to go about raving fans and what that means as a Franchise Owner with Stacked Pickle.”

Stacked Pickle Franchisor on Raving Fans

Gary continues, “First, in order for you to have raving fans, you have to have raving employees. As a sports bar franchisor, I think one of the most important things, whatever business you in, is that you have to focus on the chemistry.”

“Whether it is your sports restaurant concept, whether it’s your store – whatever you’re doing. In order [to get] first time raving fans, you HAVE to HAVE happy employees.

Gary expresses thankfulness. “I’ve been so very happy to talk to one of our employees father about how much she enjoys her job working at the Stacked Pickle – It’s on our culture baby!”

Location Plus Raving Fans Equals Opportunity

During Franchise Friday Episode 2, Gary goes discusses the potential losses he observed as a Franchisor & for Franchise Owners during his visit to a potential second generation franchise location.

“We really wouldn’t have seen any benefits of taking on this second generation franchise location. [It would] take our costs to the roof, so the risk/reward definitely was not there.” The location had nearly double the typical floorplan of a Stacked Pickle Sports Restaurant Concept.

Identifying further the result from this, put plainly, Gary goes on, “…for us, so, back to the drawing board – but that’s the process man. First thing is obviously identifying what you want to do. We know who we are.”

“Location, location, location.”

And true enough, Gary ends, “We’ve heard it before and it’s true. Keep on tuning in to Stacked Pickle Franchise Friday videos.”
