Franchising USA Magazine recently covered Stacked Pickle Owner & CEO Gary Brackett for his dedication. Moving agility through a Super Bowl Championship with the Indianapolis Colts, building his education, gaining & building entrepreneurial experiences, and now as a franchisor, Gary has the tenacity to run an empire with keys made himself. As such, Stacked Pickle Restaurant Franchises are primed to grow, lead by a history of success.

A Coach at Heart, the Ex-NFL Star Looks to Franchising to Build a Team

According to Franchise USA Magazine, Gary Lawrence Brackett rose to national fame when he was picked up as a free agent for the Indianapolis Colts in 2003. He went on to play for nine seasons. During his tenure, Brackett was most noted for winning Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears, as noted by Franchise USA Magazine. He was named defensive captain of the Colts, had over 120 tackles, and he was twice named AFC Defensive Player-of-the-Week.

Brackett had a dream both in and out of the NFL. It was to coach.

Most football players come to the end of their career asking, “what next?”

This was not the case for Brackett.

He’d soon find something just as engaging and competitive: Restaurant Franchising.

As put by Franchise USA Magazine, Gary always thought about his post-NFL aspirations — even when he first entered the league. He took advantage of executive education and internships provided by the NFL, which provided a foundation for him to take advantage of after his career in football, according to people familiar with the matter. This would lead to Stacked Pickle restaurant franchises down the line.

A large part of this mindset came while obtaining his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, where he developed a business skill set that he knew would be of value during the next phase of his career. After retirement from the NFL, Brackett went back to school, earning his Masters of Business Administration from George Washington University and ventured into restaurant management, in the city of Indianapolis.
